Inspired by earrings worn in the early Roman period, the word 'crotalia' means rattle or castanets in Greek and speaks to the gentle sound of pearls tapping together.

Fluid in form and gently asymmetrical, the Crotalia Earrings are approximately 75mm long, with three pearl strands hanging from each 23mm diameter hoop earring.

The Crotalia Earrings are made by hand in nipaluna (Hobart), Tasmania, from reclaimed vintage pearls and ethically-sourced sterling silver. Please be aware that this piece is handmade from reclaimed vintage pearls, and future earrings may differ slightly in appearance.
